The Demon was a car in the 1970 Hot Wheels series, based on the Lil' Coffin show car of the '60s. The casting was later renamed Prowler from 1973 - 1983. The casting was again release as The Demon in 1993 for the 25th Anniversary Series and current reissues.

The Real Show CarEdit

• The Li'l Coffin, also known to Hot Wheels Collectors as The Demon or Prowler, Was custom built by Darryl Starbird for Monogram models and went on tour with the ICAS in 1963-64. This chopped and channeled '32 Ford sedan features a cantilevered roof and a "floating" windshield. It's powered by a 426 Hemi, "6-Pack" (six single barrel carburetors), and has a fully pleated white leather interior.
