Hey Brad, I noticed you added some missing pictures.

Funny, I was getting ready to add the classics myself. I was working on nailing down what happened to the truck during the classic run.

I'll dig out the posts from HWC, but for now, I'll just throw the questions out...

Why was the switch from the metal engine to plastic not noted? Oversight? Didn't know?

At least 2 colors of the classic truck appeared missing the country of origin on the base. This happened with the Fuinny car in the earlier series too.

Not sure why both STD and Air leave that info out in their lists.

• Hey ranugad, as far as not noting the plastic/metal engine versions I didn't note it because I could not remember which ones it affected. I was trying to recall....I believed it to be the Blue version where the switch occured but was not 100% sure so I didn't put it down. Now as far as the ones that were missing the country of origin, I believe that is the first I have heard of that. Got any pix of those? BigBadBrad01 19:58, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

• As far as STD goes, I think they do a whale of a job! But, I have noticed that, once in a while, they miss a thing or two. So many Hot Wheels come out, I'm surprised they don't miss more! It could be that they just didn't notice this variation. I know I've emailed them about certain cars that they didn't know about and they thanked me. So, it could just be a simple oversight on their part because I think the hobby of Hot Wheels is really too complex to catch everything. That's my take on it. I see people on the Hot Wheels Wiki here finding out things they didn't know from cars I've posted and I've learned tons from other people's postings! HaarFager 04:00, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
