Inspiration For This Model Edit

Okay, so I'm watching the original 1974 version of the movie "Gone In 60 Seconds," when less than 2 and a half minutes into it a white wrecker truck pulls into the scene. And on the side of it is this: "Larry's 24-Hour Towing." Sound familiar? Yes, the very next year, 1975, Hot Wheels comes out with a model that says the very same thing. Coincidence? No, I don't think so. Here is a screen capture of the truck:

I also love that movie! I bought it on DVD about a year ago, and watched it 3 times. I also loved the fact that they visited areas that I know, and seeing how they've changed in the past 40 years, it's definitely interesting.RazoE 6:30, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
