Hi Kenny Your thought on this, and hate to make more.... work than what there is. Example on some older castings that lovely Mattel keeps making names for on the card. Where the collector number is why not replace it with the name of the car. I understand some newer models you can't do cause there are collectors like myself that look for the collector number. That way when you go down the list it is showing the different names like some guides, and STDC. Your Thoughts? Fantazim 17:00, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

You mean like a whole other new column? That would probably work best. Put the name of each casting first, then the collector number. I think one more column wouldn't be too much. That would leave the "Notes/Variations" column free for things just such as that, instead of like how I use it sometimes, which is to make a note of the different casting name in that space. What about that kind of thing? HaarFager 18:50, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Changed the name to Racebait 308 as that is what it is printed as on the car itself.

I have a Golden Machines Race Bait 308 and it definitely has a black-painted diecast metal chassis, not plastic like the article says. It's possible that the Hong Kong factory did some Golden Machines 308s with a plastic chassis, but they weren't all plastic. SteveBrandon (talk) 02:05, March 21, 2017 (UTC)

I'd say we can update the page to reflect a "Black-Painted/Metal" base. I think that was pretty typical of this model. All the ones I have are black-painted metal. Kenny HaarFager (talk) 06:15, March 21, 2017 (UTC)
