Talk:Pass'n Gasser
Back to page
It is always mistaken for the 1933 Willy's, it's based off of the 1937 Ford Coupe. Fantazim 18:46, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- My father corrected me sorry, 1937 Ford 5 Window [1] the term Gasser was mainly used throughout the 40's - 60's as you can see the roof was chopped on the Pass'n Gasser. Fantazim 19:24, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, yes! I remember the Gasser era well! Well into the 1960's. There were so many of the old two-seater coupes built back then, that there were always plenty to race. Bill, do you remember a comic from the 1960's called Car Toons? They used to have Gassers drawn from time to time and had a monthly story that featured a character that looked like Hoss, from Bonanza. That was one comic book I liked more than most others. I was never much of a Super Hero type comic lover. This one and Mad magazine, always read both of them. And Cracked, when I could find it. HaarFager 23:38, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Wow, now my gray hair is growing J/K. Yes I do, haven't heard that in years. Remember the Non Sport Cards too, every Card had a Car with specs, darn for get the name of those. Fantazim 23:48, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
