I had a perfectly good Black truck in the table section and it was moved to the gallery. I suppose the person who moved it thought it wasn't good enough. I didn't see anything wrong with it myself.
To me, it looks like that user prefers to have his pictures there and nobody elses. Well, I don't operate like that. If a picture shows the Hot Wheel well, then I see no need for me to run in and go changing the picture to one I took just because I want all of my pictures there and no one else's. What would the word be called if I only cared about myself and my own pictures? Egomania? I'm thankful I'm not like that. HaarFager 05:28, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
If we were really interested in making this a good wiki, we wouldn't keep wasting our time removing perfectly good pictures and inserting our own in their place, would we? We would be adding information and pictures where there are none; using our time productively and constructively, not destructively and counterproductively.
Yes, I've put my pictures in place of a couple others, but each time, I told the reasoning behind it. And both those times were because the image just wasn't big enough even after you clicked on the thumbnail to get the full-sized view. The third time I did so was because the image had spots on it that detracted from the car. I mean, if we're tyring to put up the best images, shouldn't we make sure they're as good as we can make them? If not, who gets to decide which picture is better than another? What standard are we using to decide picture quality? Is there a list somewhere that speaks about picture quality guidelines, or is it just each user's own decision, however flawed his crtical abilities might or might not be?
