DescriptionEdit

The Switchback is a Hot Wheels Original Design. The design of the vehicle was retro inspired, blending elements of classic hot rod pick-up trucks with modern lines. Originally the design was to debut as part of Highway 35 along with 4 other designs. When HW35 became the World Race, Switchback remained in the lineup but got a special paint scheme as part of the Wave Rippers. The original 2-tone paint scheme was used on the First Edition.
