This 1973 Chevrolet Silverado was introduced as the Bywayman in 1979 in Light Blue. A special issue was also released as Geoffrey's Pickup. In 1980 the color was changed to Light Green in the basic line. In 1983 the color was changed to Metalflake Blue in the basic line, also it was added to the Real Riders series in Metalflake Blue of the same year. In 1985 the color was changed to Yellow as part of the Real Riders Stamper 3-pack. It rejoined the basic line in 1989 and had many more colors to date and more to come. The Super Scraper, an alternate casting name, was first released in 1980. It has also been released with the casting names Power Plower, Pavement Pounder and Race Truck. Although the Bywayman continued to be released, this additional version with the non-removable snow plow also continued with different names. It was named Pavement Pounder for a single release. For it's release in 1986, it was named Power Plower, a name which it held for ten years. :The Bywayman had a final run in 2003.
