The Mitsubishi Pajero is a full-sized sport utility vehicle produced by Mitsubishi from 1981 to 2021; it was given different names such as the Montero and Shogun in different countries. The Pajero Evolution was a special roadgoing version of the Pajero intended to homologate a racing version of the Pajero for the Dakar Rally and other rally raids. 2,693 were produced from 1997 to 1999.
