Highway Patrol was a Hot Wheels casting designed by Larry Wood, which debuted in the 1978 Flying Colors series. The casting is based on a police patrol car, but was decorated many different ways, inspiring different names for the casting, such as Airport Security, Fire Chaser, Fire Chief, and Sheriff Patrol. The strangest of these names was Gleamer Patrol, when it was part of the 1992 Gleam Team.
