A JDM "Tooned" version of a Toyota Altezza, better known in North America as the first generation Lexus IS. Produced as a direct competitor to the luxury sport sedans of the leading European luxury marques, the XE10 series Toyota Altezza and Lexus IS was designed with a greater performance emphasis than typically seen on prior Japanese luxury vehicles. Fitted with an ultra-widebody body kit and a chopped roofline, the 'HKS' in the casting name refers to the company HKS, which deals aftermarket car parts as well as functioning as a tuning house for motorsport vehicles. The Hot Wheels HKS Altezza is modeled after an HKS-tuned race car from 2000.
