This Dodge Monaco was first released in 1978 as Highway Patrol. In 1979, it came out with the name Fire Chaser. It wasn't until 1988 that it was known by the casting name of Fire Chief, and so far, that was the only time it went under this name. Other names this casting has been released with include Sheriff Patrol, Airport Security, and Gleamer Patrol.
