Description

HW Prototype 12 is a depiction of a high-performance, mid-engine track-focused supercar with a large wing and transparent side strakes. The model bears a slight, passing resemblance to a McLaren F1.

This model features heavily in the game Velocity X, released the same year as it's debut. Along with being the fastest car in that game, it is depicted as possessing highly experimental technology; not the least of which is a nuclear-powered cloaking device (and time machine).

The HW Prototype 12 would later go on to star, in a modified form, as the CLYP Organization's primary vehicle in World Race, and then substitute for Pontiac Rageous in the tie-in game. Other game appearances include Stunt Track Challenge & Unleashed 2.
