The Ferrari California was put into production by Ferrari in 2009. The Hot Wheels Version is based off of the actual production model. In addition to the standard Hot Wheels there are also two limited edition 1:18 models in the Hot Wheels Elite collection, a red one and a black one, which is based on a real car owned by the famous singer, George Michael.
