The Chevrolet Corvette C7.R is a grand tourer racing car built by Pratt & Miller Engineering and Fabrication and Chevrolet for competition in endurance racing. It is a replacement for the Corvette C6.R racing car, using the C7 generation Chevrolet Corvette as a base. The C7.R has a front-mounted longitudinally-placed Chevrolet LS5.R 5.5 L (336 cu in) V8 engine which is naturally aspirated and produces 491 hp (366 kW) @ 6,000 rpm. The engine runs on Ethanol raccing fuel.
When the die-cast version of the model was released in 2015, it featured an up-sloped chin, to optimize its performance in loops. For the 2016 Hot Wheels Entertainment version the base was modified and the chin is no longer up-sloped.
