Chevrolet's Corvette C7.R is the track-version of Corvette C7 Stingray. It has been announced in late 2014, and will be produced only to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and IMSA SportsCar Championship. It competes with the SRT Viper GTS-R, Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, Ferrari 458 Italia GTE and Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE. The 2015 Corvette Z06 is based on the profile of this car.
