A Car With Many Names
Edit
AMX/2 was a casting designed by Paul Tam that debuted in the 1971 Hot Wheels series. It was based on a 1:1 scale non-functioning design by AMC.
It was then re-released in 1973 as Xploder. The Warpath was issued with this name in 1975 and again when it was a part of the Wisconsin Toy Company line-up in 1980.
A similar casting was issued without the opening plastic engine covers. It was named Redliner for 1985 when it was release in the series. In 1987 it was released with the name Road Torch.
