The '82 Corvette Stingray is very similar to the Corvette Stingray (1976) except that the rear window changed from the flat indentation design of the earlier Stingrays to the rounder expanded design that Corvette produced from 1978 - 1983. Also, (correct me if I'm wrong), this casting is only released with a plastic body.

JJTurcheck adds - What confuses me is that the bottom ofeach of these I have is that the copywrite date says 1975. Did they use the same cast as they did with the '76 Stingray and just not update it or what?
